History
Founded 1886
Founded as Camberwell Church of England Grammar School, opening on 2 February 1886 on Burke Road, Camberwell, in the grounds of St John's Church, with Arthur B. Taylor as first headmaster and 66 boys. The Anglican boys' school moved to its Canterbury site (Mont Albert Road) in 1935.
